Well things doesn't wrong more when you are planning such a long trip.
Ideally, we were suppose to hit the road by 6 or 7 am, but we started at 9:30 am and worse I am feeling low again, whether we should go ahead or not.

Whatever we will see whatever comes in our way, and we started our journey.

First Step

I have recently changed my job and because of that I have to relocate to Bangalore on the temporary bases.
Now at this point I was Delhi base and plan to take my car along with me as it will be more convenient. As normally, I start talking with different movers and packer and find out what will the cost in transporting the car and other household stuff.
Suddenly out of no ware my wife told why not we drive to Bangalore. The idea surprises me, as the distance between Delhi and Bangalore is more than 2000 kilometers.
I thought well why we need to take such a pain as we can easily catch up the flight and movers and packers guys will transfer the car, no hassle and no worries and driving such a long distance is very dangerous and anything can happen, the car can broke down in middle of nowhere or we might have a accident or etc, n numbers of thought are floating into my mind.
We have our little arguments and we agree that I'll do some researching and then we will make a final decision.

I hit the net (where else I can go?) and start searching. First I try to find out the exact distance and route. The route which shows on the Google Map is via Agra-Gwalior-Hyderabad-Bangalore covering around 2100 kilometers. OK, not a big a surprise, expecting that.

Now I try to find out did somebody has done this before and find out couple of people have done this and almost according to all of them the best route for this trip will Delhi-Jaipur-Udaipur-Ahmadabad-Surat-Mumbai-Pune-Hubli-Bangalore which is covering around 2500 kilometers.

Well that's add another 400 kilometers in our trip but with my further research I found out even if this route adds extra 400 kilometers, the roads are the best on this route and if you consider the time factor this route will take less time.

One more thing that I found out that this route is very busy, so it is bit safer to travel especially if you are planning to drive late night or very early morning. Almost 80% of the road are four lane and we can take bypass road from most the cities.

And as i keep on searching and finding out the information, I keep on getting interested in this trip.

Finally after much of the search and thought (at least a week I have spent on it), we came to common decision and decided to do this road trip.
